RTCM messages: checking correction compatibility
A shared RTCM label is a starting point, not a complete compatibility test.
Message content must match the workflow
RTCM correction streams can contain reference coordinates and observations for particular constellations and signals. Different message combinations serve different positioning methods. A rover may establish an NTRIP connection or receive radio bytes without decoding all the observations it needs for the intended solution.

Verify both ends of the link
Compare the base or provider message configuration with the rover documentation. Inspect the actual correction status, not only the connection indicator. Keep a known-point test in the setup procedure and document message or firmware changes that could alter interoperability during a project.

Practical checklist
- Check the required message types at both ends.
- Verify that the rover actually uses arriving data.
- Retest control after changing messages or firmware.
Plan your GNSS setup
Compare the EQ10 and EQ20 receiver specifications, then discuss the configuration and support your project needs.
